BYC Workshops – Sound bath & Guided Meditation
Sound Bath / Guided Meditation Workshop
Just let the sound wash over you and drift to relaxation
Date: Fortnightly on Sunday’s (see timetable for next Sound Bath)
Location: BYC hot yoga, The Studio, 1st Floor, Essex Place, London, W4 5UT.
What is a Sound Bath:
A Sound Bath is a meditation technique using improvised noises to help practitioners release stress. Let the sound wash over you and the stress wash out!
A recent study in 2017 designed to examine the potential effects of a singing bowl meditation on mood, tension, anxiety, physical pain, and spiritual well-being found that they had a “significant difference in response to the meditation”.
So lie back, let the sounds wash over you and let the waves wash your body and mind into some blissful, much deserved relaxation!
In addition to the Sound Bath Charlie will be leading you though a guided mediation designed to compliment the effects of the Sound Bath.
At the end of the mediation, please feel free to stay and relax in
Anyone over the age of 16.
You will be lying down for a long period, so feel free to use extra mats or blocks/bricks etc to make yourself comfortable.
Charlie has been working with energy healing for over 6 years. After experimenting with many kinds of healing modalities, in search for a cure to his insomnia, was surprised to find himself out like a light during a Sound Bath. Building up a collection of singing bowls and gongs, he now has created his own Sound Bath experience which he combines with other modalities, including massage and yoga. Singing bowls give off the baseline frequency the cells in our body emit when we are in a state of peace and calm, allowing you to enter this state easily, and releasing any built up stress and anxiety.
If you need to cancel out of the workshop and do so any time prior to 24hrs before the event, please email the studio at email@example.com and the fee will be credited to your BYC account. If you late cancel under 24hrs prior to class you will be charged in full.
